Justine Perry is a French DJ based in Berlin and resident at Art Bei Ton.
Attracted by the Berlin club scene, her sets are influenced by dark and deep techno, bringing the public to a hypnotic experience. 
Established herself in Europe, she played in prestigious venues, such as Rex Club in Paris, Khidi in Tbilisi, Griessmühle, or Tresor in Berlin, as well as some festivals, like Forte Festival in Portugal, Instytut Festival in Poland and she performed at the finest European radio stations like Red Light Radio, Hoer Berlin, Rinse FM or Clubbing TV.
On 2020, in collaboration with Petit Astronaute, Justine Perry released her first track « Swell » out on DNC Limited.

EPM Podcast 141 comes from UK producer, Blueprint label runner and DJ James Ruskin. A bastion for British Techno, Blueprint Records was originally founded in 1996 by James and the late Richard Polson and since then has continued to be at the forefront of cutting-edge labels. Entering its 25th year with a series of 3 12” EPs we are also delighted to have James involved with our own 20th celebrations this year with his track ‘There Was A Time’ as showcased in this new mix. Taking a more restrained and experimental techno path this set sees Ruskin bring the likes of VC-118A, Surgeon, Mal Hombre, Bambounou, Kerrie, Planetary Assault Systems (PAS), Shifted, Vril, Anodyne and more into the frame. 

Consistently releasing quality material through Blueprint since the label's mid-'90s foundation, Ruskin has also issued several full-lengths and EPs through German institution Tresor, including 2001's ‘Into Submission’ and 2008’s ‘The Dash’. In addition to releasing collaborations with Surgeon and Oliver Ho, Ruskin has also worked with Regis (Karl O'Connor) as O/V/R, and produced more experimental, IDM-leaning material with Mark Broom as the Fear Ratio with several albums featuring on Manchester’s iconic Skam label as well as the duo’s new Deadhand moniker which recently saw an EP released on Seagrave feat. DJ Prime Cuts and rapper Sensational. As a series of EP releases drops as part of the label’s 25 year celebrations and with several album projects in the pipeline, 2021 sees James firmly back in the production hot seat. With a musical career spanning over twenty years and more than one hundred releases, Héctor Sandoval (one half of Exium) is deep into a new project.

Tensal is both his stage name and the label that will accommodate most of this new work, which focuses on a brand of techno that is more modern and cyclic, and based on classic synth lines. Two different visions of underground techno merging into one project whose first releases have been backed by some of the most renowned underground techno DJs of the world.

His DJ sets explore all facets of techno by alternating different textures and intensities that draw mainly from his own materials. A journey through current techno that will certainly get your attention.

For us, Takaaki Itoh is a rare and beautiful gem! The Japan born artist’s DJ’ing skills, exhibited perfectly in this hour long podcast for On the 5th Day, demonstrate his incredible story telling ability – a journey woven together by an endless stream of unique and often unheard tracks, building anticipation in the most captivating way. Throughout his mixes Takaaki manages to tread a delicate line somewhere between restrain and propulsion, the overall result of which is pure, hypnotic magic - inducing a feeling not often found outside of a party. Productions wise, Takaaki owns it in equal measure, having delivered numerous highly functional, standout tracks on labels including Faut Section, Analog Section, Gynoid Audio, Att Series and Wols (for which he is the co-founder).

Sesión grabada en el pasado Rebels Showcase con Inigo Kennedy en jimmy Jazz (Gasteiz) donde el británico nos deleitó con una masterclass de techno, género en el que se introdujo de cabo a rabo, pudimos escuchar en su set desde los sonidos más orgánicos a los mas crudos, techno clásico, techno moderno y por supuesto no faltaron esas pinceladas de melancolía con las características melodías de sus producciones. 
No queríamos que este set se quede en el recuerdo,  queremos que sea un regalo para todxs lxs amantes de la música.
