The mystery around her character shows through her music with deep, dark and distorted vocals providing a sense of chilling yet beautiful eeriness. Ripping up the rulebook, Gazelle Twin does things differently, creating a lane of her own within the music world. As she steps up to provide this week's Slumber Session, let the Brighton-based singer and producer take you on a disturbing journey through time, space and sleep. "The edge of the bed forms the platform. I am the station building. Spread-eagled over tracks. Inside me, brown tiles, carpeted waiting rooms, walls in beige gloss, green paper towels in dispensers. Geometry binds me. 

A presence is felt before the eyes have seen. A malign figure in a mass of clothes. I become a vase. My head, shoulders, hips and feet. All hollow. I must do everything to fight the gag instinct. I think of sun-baked clay. Then white, glowing, writhing eels slide together, multiplying, bending, oozing.

Flowers ablaze and a black hole engulfs everything. A great pull downwards, into a pit of crystals. Then daylight on a farm. Dwarfed by a vast silo and the buzzing sun."
