He is a Vancouver Canuck fan-favourite and now the former hockey enforcer Gino Odjick is in the fight of his life. Last night, Gino posted an open letter to tell fans he is suffering from a rare terminal disease that’s attacking his heart -- he only has a few weeks to live. Fans are taking to social media to send their well-wishes to Gino and a rally is planned at VGH on July 13th.

Well here is my recorded original song called "CF Roses" Written, played, and sang by me. Jon Mack rythym guitar. Axel Gillette on bass. Eric Hogg provided the studio and mixing. I'm so very proud.
I had a dream 20 years ago and wrote a short story about about my nephew Dev who has Cystic Fibrosis. I decided to bring it to life via music. For those who dont know the term 65 Rose's is used by young children to identify Cystic Fibrosis.
My short story ended with a statement that if everyone donated the cost of a single rose, they may be able to find a cure for CF.
The cold reality of CF is there is no cure.
