Cocorico (Part 2/3)! I got such amazing memories with this awesome club in Riccione Italy. Didn’t play there for 4 years, first it had to close down and then there was this virus. So I was uber happy to be back and it was a total blast, such a good vibe right into the beautiful sunrise. Such an incredible atmosphere in this place, I would say better than ever before, if that is even possible. So great to see so many happy people dancing in this pyramid again. Thanks to everyone for bringing this energy to the night. The set was 3h 20 min in the end. So in case you listen to this on the radio/internet you might miss the last 20 min as it is always 1h pieces. Manual Music founder @paul-hazendonk surprises with a breakbeat infused remix of Snap's iconic 1992 classic Rhythm Is A Dancer. 

What started out as simply having a little fun in the studio, jamming with some beats and a sampler, turned out into a full 6 minute version simply because it rocked too much to leave it as 'just a loop'.

Unofficial remix of course and needless to say this won't be available for sale.

Die Teenagerzeit wurde mit nächtlichen Radiosendungen und Fachzeitschriften verbracht und der jugendlichen Freiheit entgegen gesehnt. Kaum war es soweit wurde jedes Wochenende genutzt um alle umliegenden Partys zu besuchen, immer auf der Suche nach neuer Musik.
Doch schon nach kurzer Zeit war für ihn klar: Er will DJ werden und selber Musik machen! Der hart verdiente Lehrlingslohn wurde nun eisern für die erste Technik, ein 3-Kanal Mischpult (Jaytec DJM-5) und ein Doppel DJ CD Player (Reloop RC-2500 MK 2) gespart. Seine Eltern waren zwar nicht immer von seinem musikalischen Geschmack begeistert, jedoch unterstützten sie ihn und schenkten ihm Plattenspieler. Unter dem Namen Freeze_Frame war er zwischen 2000 und 2006 aktiv und hatte diverse Gigs im Triebwerk (Dresden) oder Nachtwerk (München), zusätzlich war er von 2006 bis 2008 bei Radio Quintessenz zu hören.

Zwischen 2008 und 2010 legte er eine kreative Pause ein. Er hatte das Gefühl, das es im Techno keine interessanten Veränderungen für ihn zu finden waren und bastelte eigene Sounds, zuhause im Verborgenen.

2011 startete er wieder mit voller Begeisterung und jeder Menge neuer Technik, das digitale Zeitalter hatte Einzug gehalten.

Thomas Stoerer’s Sound steht für rauen, düsteren und pumpenden Techno, gepaart mit Sounds der „guten alten Technozeit“ und verfeinert mit Loops und Samples, wird aus seinen Sets ein Live-Set.
