Following an incredible Selected. debut at the start of this year with “Nobody Knows”, Miami-based DJ and producer (and member of chart topping super-group, Major Lazer) Ape Drums, now returns to Selected. for his eagerly anticipated sophomore follow up, “No Reason”.

Purveying a unique signature sound that fuses pop leaning sensibilities with Caribbean and Latin inspired rhythms, the in-demand US artist — real name Eric Alberto-Lopez — now joins forces with fellow Floridian singer/songwriter and Selected. debutant Simon Said. for an inaugural collaboration that we can’t seem to stop listening to. An infectious club track blending the best of Ape Drum’s refined production credentials and Simon Said.’s inimitable rap vocals, deep basslines and an insanely catchy synth hook make this is the perfect way to ring in the new year. Residing in the North of England and having been under several alias's Tom has been on the DJ scene for over a decade and been blessed to play at some incredible venues and events over that time. 

Taking the plunge and becoming a full time DJ has given Tom more time into producing his own music. Music that has been widely well received. Releasing tracks on labels such as Enormous Tunes/Chills, No Definition and Let There Be House to name a few and finding support from big such artists as Nora En Pure & Friend Within.
