I Am A Child

This is a performance by Nick Reynolds, John Stewart and Dave Guard. They had been trying to get a touring band together for quite a while but it never happened. This date was just prior to my father David's diagnosis with Lymphoma later in 1988. I didn't expect it to be this good. John Stewart is over-the-top enthused. They are all being very funny and the two songs are just great. The crowd is insanely supportive and do a great job singing and clapping on Tom Dooley. The room is just so alive that Tom Dooley ends and gets back up and going because the energy is just so there.

This is a very nice track Dad recorded I think in Hawaii in the early eighties.
