The Borracho Brothers were formed in obscurity sometime in 1878 near Open Container, Louisiana.  Little is known of this mythical troupe until they resurfaced in Facedown, Illinois, just outside Chicago in 1924.  They made a name for themselves in the '30s and '40's playing backup for the likes of Etta James, Frank Sinatra, John Lee Hooker and Tiny Tim. Not content as a backup band, the boys ventured west to try their luck on the Left Coast.  Hard times hit the band, and at one point they were all living in a van listening to old eight tracks of Iron Butterfly and the Strawbs.

However, a chance meeting with a roadie from Duran Duran led to an audition and the fame and fortune that had previously eluded the boys.  Nowadays, the Borrachos play high-energy original rock 'n' roll with a number of tasty covers thrown in.  They let it all hang out, but thankfully our drummer was cleared of all of those charges and is back on the street again!
