Following the wicked opening set from our residents Lee James & Garry Dabill was a DJ who used to be a regular guest at UpYerRonson and even hosted the infamous 12 Nights of Summer Party at The Pleasure Rooms in 1996....he was back making his first UYR appearance in over 20 years....the legend that is Jeremy Healy!! Jeremy played the 5pm-6.30pm set on the Terrace so one would think he'd take it easy and play some cool summer terrace vibes...don't be silly, this is Jeremy Healy we're talking about, THE best PARTY DJ who always plays a set that will make you dance whatever time of day it is!! DJ Nipper - OS September Mix

It’s been a couple of years since I last did an old school mix, and this will probably be my last for a long time to come. (I think all the tracks I love are now in this mix or the other 4 installments). I’ve spent the last few years searching out classic tracks and acapellas and putting them together in new ways that keep those crazy days of the late 80s - early 90s alive... in my own little way. There are already so many classic house mixes out there, so I wanted to think differently about 'Not Forgotten V5'. I went searching for the samples that many house tracks had sampled, back in the day and went about rebuilding them. Like Pierre Ferroldi - Moving Now. I got the original acapella the Italian's sampled from, then chopped it up and restructured it to create a ‘Moving Now’ acapella that no one else has got. Then I banged it over another track, creating a fab new bootleg version in its own right. Of course, these things take time and a lot of patience. With so much of this going on, in many ways this is a mix, sitting on top of another mix. This creates some pretty magical and unexpected mixing moments. It pairs up some formidable anthems together. When you find that Fast Eddy and Brothers in Rhythm fit hand in glove, it feels seriously good. Not quite as good as being 18 and going crazy in a sweaty club, but still pretty good. This mix is over 2 hrs long and I’ve tried by best to keep the audio and the mixing to the highest quality. There’s some well known anthems, sitting along side some rare, seldom heard gems. Some of my very own version excursions like Ellustrious - Dance no more. Some classic Italian piano screamers. Some progressive. Balearic, Chicago, you name it. I wanted to include it all, because there are too many mixes that stick to one style. To me, great house came from a number of different styles spanning a number of different years. Put it all together and you have a seriously fun trip back in time. Enjoy and play it loud.
