Clarinettiste, saxophoniste compositeur et arrangeur, Tom Koupper commence la musique à l'age de 6 ans avec la clarinette puis plus tard il se tourne vers la pratique du saxophone.
Il explore dans un premier temps l'univers du Reggae ou il est saxophoniste du backing band Black Legend Brown (BLB) il collabore avec des artistes comme Lyricson, Ilements, Gajnah Tree, Baby G...

Lors d'un voyage en Éthiopie en 2014 et la découvre l'Ethio Jazz, ses mélodies mystiques et envoutantes. De retour en France il monte un projet nouveau projet avec Ibex Walia.
