Adam Harper aka Ghoulish stormed onto the UK music scene in 2021 with his intricate and powerful dancefloor-shaking production style. In less than a year of releasing new music he's received regular support from the legends of the rave scene such as Skream, My Nu Leng Holy Goof, Notion, Sammy Virji and Riz La Teef to name a few as well as being coined a UKF ones to watch in 2022.

Further to his impressive production, Ghoulish cut his teeth in 2018 with the sounds of dubstep and drum and bass, which has helped him incorporate a fast-paced, energetic and unique style to his own productions and DJ sets. His DJ sets are regularly filled with his own productions as well as rare dubplates and unreleased tracks from his favourite producers, spanning from UKG, grime, breakbeats, 4x4, 140, jungle and everything in between which makes the Mancunians sets hard to put him in a box - just how we like it.

Ghoulish devises anything from UKG and speed garage/bassline to the depths of dubstep and grime whilst also being able to turn his hand to euphoric breakbeats and up-tempo rave cuts with ease, usually taking inspiration from those combination of genres in part and fusing them together.

His 2-track vinyl release on ec2a (1999/Buss It Up) in 2021 sold out in less than 10 hours and has been hugely sort-after since, which is how he first landed on 1Forty's radar. Fast forward 9 months later and a submission to the 1Forty Acapellas #2 project landed in our inbox taking Logan's patois vocal from his and Hamdis 'Bun Dem Down' and turning it into a speed garage warper for one of the biggest UKG records on the label this year.
