The Roof Tapes- 2005 Summer recorded on a tape recorder placed on a roof above the band plying on an outdoor deck. The sound blasted over a small valley out onto a lake near the Ankeny Wildlife Refuge South of Salem, Oregon. Not a terrible soundmix for a tape recorder!

Andre Meets Azrael. One of the most intellectual people i have ever met passed away on September 20th 2020 from aggressive rare cancer. I was writing him a song 4 days before he died- And while he was living out his final breaths i was two miles away working on this song while he died. Just wrapped it up yesterday and recorded a run-through to preserve it. Azrael is the Angel of Death; so what is mean for a stoic intellectual to meet the Angel of Death? Only he knows.

Conceived in 2011; this song features an organ that sounded like the gaseous seas of Neptune and the lyrics were inspired by both bandmates having the same astrological position of Venus; which is in Pisces: The most unconditional position.
