3 QUESTIONS to OLIVER KOLETZKI:

Q: Let's get into the mood for your mix. It includes strong messages according to a lot of different music styles, so: How did you meet the bass once?

A: This mix is actually very honest. Those are the most important acts/tracks of my musical education. I'm an 1980ies kid so it's a bit cheesy. The moment when I really met "the bass" was with the change from German Hip-Hop to House Music end of the 1990'ies. It's a bit of a cliche, I know, but that's how it was and I have stayed with Electronic Music still today.

Q: Slowly we're finding our way out of the pandemic and get back to normal step by step. How did you experience the past 1,5 years?

A: Even it was a horrible time for us humans, I really enjoyed that break from constantly touring for 15 years every weekend. I even enjoyed the lockdown, cause normally I'm not at home that much. Of course it was not easy for clubs, festivals, a lot of artists and our labels. But we made it somehow. Now I'm happy when everything slowly returns to normal.

Q: Which Koletzki projects are you currently working on?

A: I released my 9th album "Made of Wood" in July, so now I'm taking a break from producing until I'm starting with the very special 10th album. But of course there will be some remixes. Beside that I made a brand new live-act with my best downtempo tracks I'm going to tour with.

A: Well, i am really trying not so hard to be the next DJ superstar, and i have a good feeling i will get there soon, or at least in my next life.
