My most recent album for your listening please, "&Flow" marks a change in name of project from False Identity to Xylem. Just as I hope my music will continue to evolve and grow, I feel like I outgrew my old name. For those who don't know, xylem are vessels within plants which transport water and nutrients from the roots to the leaves. Thank you for joining me on this journey of musical evolution.

02. Xylem - Meditations On Water & Wind

Dejalum, a psydub/psychill artist from the outskirts of Santiago, Chile, presents his debut release on Mindspring: Singularities, a delicate fusion of downtempo psybass/psydub music sprinkled with just the right amount of mind-bending psychedelic textures overlaying playful head-bobbing beats.

Jose Ascui began his musical journey at the age of 13, inspired by rock and roll music to play the guitar his father gave him. A multi-instrumentalist by the age of 18, Jose had learned to play multiple wind instruments while in school for Electrical Civil Engineering.

Being inspired by his first music festival, Montemapu, Jose was intrigued by the signature sounds of Ott, Bluetech, Androcell, Kaminanda, Kalya Scintilla, and Quanta. These artists would go on to be a heavy influence in his music production.

Mindspring is proud to release Jose’s debut release: Singularities. Four delightful pieces of psychedelic sonic ear-candy, this is truly a Mindspring release not to look over.

Playing at High Vibe Festival in Cobb, CA, was electrifying. The sweaty hall, equipped with a Function One sound system, pulsated with energy. Meeting fellow producers and joining the High Vibe Records crew was a highlight, fostering creative connections. The festival was more than just music; it was a convergence of like-minded individuals, each contributing to the elevated atmosphere of positivity and inspiration.

About the album:

"Lost and Found" is a moving and finely detailed album by PNFA, the musical project of German artist Wolfram Gruss. Known for his reflective and atmospheric style, Gruss delivers a collection that blends downtempo, chillout, and trip hop with cinematic and electro-acoustic elements, resulting in a rich, immersive sound.

Most of the tracks are instrumental, unfolding slowly through layered textures, ambient tones, and subtle rhythmic patterns. I’m very happy to present you with a new trip into paradise, re-engineered by some of the most talented psychedelic downtempo and electronica producers out there. Tribone, Kaminanda, Desert Dwellers and Suduaya. All gave their own interpretations to tracks out of my last album “Paradise Engineering”. The EP will be released in October 2nd on Iboga Records. The tracks were recently tested and proofed on my Schatsi in Dub set at The Dome in Ozora.
