I wrote this song about our reaction (as a country) to 9/11. It's not a political statement, but a comment on how I think that we could best serve the world to take what ever little steps we can as a people to prevent something like that from ever happening again. 

I recorded this song at my home with my amazing friend Jake Phillips.

Embrace the Judas

I had this melody in my head for about a week while I was traveling without any way to play it, so I recorded it into my phone.  The day after I returned home I wrote out this song in a matter of a few minutes... I had the chance today to sit down and play it on the keys for the first time, and I love the way that it came out.
