BEDFORD'S BED

MASO is my second album and comes from a long stay in the United States. Two years pursuing a master's in Denton, at the University of North Texas, allowed me to share musical and incredible experiences with professionals from around the US and around the world. The Dallas / Fort Worth area is a very effervescent scene where straight ahead jazz goes with nowadays Hip-Hop and R & B. During this time I have been lucky to listen, as a friend of mine would say: the "music of the future". It was an immense luck to work with the sextet, and record it on Panhandle Studios (Norah Jones, Snarky Puppy, etc). The album contains contemporary jazz originals, arrangements of standards from the "Great American Songbook", as well as a version of Radiohead or Thelonious Monk.
