This is my reimagining of the incredible ambient track "A Starseed's Journey" by Oliver Koletzki. Combined with elements from a guided meditation session by the late Ram Dass. I felt really inspired by the original and wanted to build upon it in my own way, what resulted is a track I feel is one of my best.

SOLIDARITY FESTIVAL 2023 - BOOM CANDY 4AM

Another month, another addition to our Rolling Selectors mix series! With a very special one coming to you all this time, in the form of a B2B mix between hard hitting Rolling resident Ronin and rising dutch artist Rayven Lux! 

We all know our trusted resident Ronin as the fast paced, double dropping dj that he is. Always finding the most interesting combinations of sounds that takes any track he plays to a whole new level. He provided the first entry in our mix series and it's amazing to see how much one can still expand in their craft after such a long time behind the decks already! 

Joining Ronin for this mix is rising dutch talent Rayven Lux! She recently started a new chapter in her life as a drum & bass DJ/producer. Several years ago, she started out with UK Bass and garage but recently turned back to her old love for drum & bass! Influenced by many UK sounds, she's known to offer a variety of sounds, reaching from to soulful liquid and neurofunk bangers. 

These two artists with their varied sounds combined have provided an eclectic set, having been able to effortlessly combine all sounds for this mix.

@hyphenza has been a staple in the South African electronic music scene for years, and was heavily involved in drum & bass's inception in South Africa. This mix showcases his technical and soulful approach to mixing, always keeping the listener on their toes.

The pair have made quite a name for themselves on the scene over the past three years; catapulted to fame by a winning entry in Evol Intent's Middle of the Night remix contest, they've followed that early success with releases for CIA, ProgRAM, SGN:LTD and Cyberfunk, not to mention collaborations with Nymfo, Coppa and Riya - an impressive accolade sheet indeed!
