He’s the co-owner of Bournemouth’s ill Groove Society and an all-around prolific beatmaker who’s been absolutely killing it recently.

The first time I came across his music was when he dropped his remix of Shirley Temper’s WTFAY — what a wicked release!

We’ve kept in touch ever since speaking about how much we’d love to collaborate on a release — and now the time is finally here!

From the start, we’ve always been obsessed with hip-hop-inspired rave fusion, and this track embodies everything we love about jungle.

Black Opps is ready to take on Boey Audio’s
‘Depth’ series, with his debut EP on the label set to unleash sonic carnage.

The Sao Paulo based producer is known to create deep, brooding sounds with carefully manufactured basslines.
Pushing a signature which has been crafted by the laxest of melodies alongside his brash backbone, he manages to conjure up the eeriest, guttural sounds; all of which can be discovered in the three tracks featured on his ‘Polaris EP’.

Black Opps brings the vibe to Boey with his first outing on the label, with each of the four tracks exemplifying the theme of our ‘Depth’ series. It's Deep, Atmospheric and Rolling from start to finish.
