Some years ago I bought a piece of software to splice two tracks of music together. As a free bonus, I also got a midi sequencer program. So I messed around with it for fun, clicking in every note and drum strike by hand. I can't say I'm proud of the result, but for someone who had never done it before, it didn't turn out too bad. :)

Now, several years later, I had completely forgotten about it when I emptied out an old hard drive and found it again.
