Greetings to everyone visiting. Thank you for checking out my new website.

A little bit about myself... I was born in Poland and my parents moved to the United States when I was 3 years old. I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I eventually moved up to Chicago for a period of time and even though I used to frequent late night underground clubs in Florida, that's where DJ X TECH was born. I have always been musically inclined, most of my family is to some degree but it wasn't until around 2002 that I really started producing music on my own. My really early stuff that I've either lost because it was on a miscellaneous CD somewhere or eventually websites came closing down and data was lost, was focused as a bit of warehouse club Techno. Dark lines and rhythms, deep bass, eerie melodies. Thinking back, a lot of it was a lot of different sounds jumbled together to form a track.

Around 2002, I finished my first full length album. I called it "The Outer Limits". Relatively quickly after the release I was contacted by this record label out in Hollywood, CA. and basically got offered a record deal. Being so inexperienced in the business I signed without giving it a second thought. That, was a very costly mistake on my part. I had lost the rights to any money coming in from that CD in particular but, the kicker to it was that I lost all of the rights to my music not just for that CD but ANY music I would have released for the next 3 years. So... I basically sat around and did music as more of a hobby rather than a calling for that period of time. I went on to meet some great people and semi-managed some bands and so forth but I was still lacking that creativeness in me. Once I was able to produce my own music again I released "The World Through My Eyes". 

I had some good feedback on that CD and the songs performed well overall but then... One night, I hear one of my old songs on a TV show. That devastated me, seriously. My old work had been licensed to a TV show and there was nothing I could do to claim it was mine. I really didn't even want any money! Just the acknowledgement that I wrote that. I pretty much gave up on music at that point for a good while. There was always this voice inside me telling me to try and do more, get some music out there to share with the world! I'm sure any artist out there that loves this craft understands where I'm going as far as feelings go that you have for music. So I started little by little developing the next release which is "Move In My Direction" which should be streaming soon as to some confusion back when it was released. Again I slowed down for a while after that release until my now wife said I need to stick with it and keep pushing forward. Giving me tons of support on that front she is my biggest fan and I have really been killing it recently creating new tracks with a new CD release "Anesthesia" for which the single "Going Under" is out already and the CD coming by April, 2021.

Because of my experiences, I have decided to not just set up a website about myself but to help out others as well so, as of today, March 7th. 2021, DJ X TECH Records is born. As you can tell from the website, this is still in its infancy at this point but there are good things to come. Basically starting from scratch yet again but Staying positive! To everyone reading this, I appreciate your time in learning a bit about my story. To my wife, I love you. To my fans, I'm sorry I've been absent and, to all my fellow musicians... I wish you unprecedented success and a very happy musical career... If you've been through a similar situation as mine, don't give up! it's hard pulling that rhythm out of your head and creating something out of it but believe me, there's someone thanking you for it and thanking you for being around.
