This Time

Tom Tyler is a unique talent. He has written, recorded, sung, played and produced all the tracks on his debut album. Having started his music career at the tender of 3 when his mother put a violin in his hands, Tom has progressed to become an accomplished multi-instrumental recording artist with a voice that is distinctive and immediately memorable. His songwriting has gained critical acclaim from numerous commentators and is likely to gain many more in the coming months.
Tom originally started his career out as a drummer, but quickly found that he was the one writing all the songs and also had the best voice in whichever group he played. The debut album is statement of genuine music, written and played by a real musician. Despite having his material stolen twice from his home studio, he has managed to complete an amazing piece of work that will stand the test of time and be played for years to come.
The first EP “Shooting Star” was released in April, and encompasses a lot of what makes Tom’s sound so unique and appealing. It gained national radio airplay on Europe's largest radio show with Graham Norton's BBC Radio 2, as well as several regional BBC stations. He followed this with second single again championed by BBC Radio 2. In addition Tom was invited to play on national TV for a live performance, and played at the 2012 London Olympics. Not stuck on one particular instrument he uses all of his musical knowledge to create a sound that is immediately familiar and memorable. 
The second album is fast being finished, having worked in Europe with producers such as Peter Kvint (Andreas Johnson, Morten Harket, Britney) Maria Marcus, Mathius Wollo, Nicals Lundin, and many more. 
in addition Tom's vocal and top-line writing ability have caught the attention of the dance world with three tracks published this year.
