In essence, no single human is “happy”.

What happiness is, is accepting that life can be difficult but that those difficulties will almost always pass, and make room for something else.

When one realizes this, it becomes so much easier to find gratitude and joy in all the little things that are usually taken for granted.

It helps to remember that there is no life without the bad times, but no bad times without the good. 

Never stop looking for the latter. It can be experienced in the most subtlest of ways.
