Title track from my new album 'Close' (8/10/2021) The songs on 'Close' mostly revolve around a partly broken old Indian Harmonium, supported by more conventional instruments. With most of the arrangements sharing this flawed foundation; the tactile element of adjusting to the non-linearities of a broken instrument, was sympathetic to the stories shared in the songs themselves.

With a mix of stories both of fiction and non-fiction 'Close' examines the feeling of Apathy; promotes The Social Model of Disability and explores some of my own interests in new-wave cinema and coming of age tales.

Recorded for the Winnetka Records annual Christmas compilation (2/12/22), featuring fellow grassroots artists based in and around the Midlands (The North/South Yorkshire for us two).

Not celebrating the holiday myself; here is a song on feeling a little out of sync with this time of year, as some of us can do.

An unexpected first recording to come from us - it's a very nice feeling to share something early with you all, whilst currently enjoying crafting more live and recorded music together.
