When I started putting this set together, I wanted to create a blend of funky, soulful, feel-good vibes—something that makes you move, but also lets you relax. Simply groovy, housy bounce tunes to keep it rolling. I really tried my best to create a harmonic 1h cruise that’s just pleasant to listen to. I can already see myself in the summer, chilling at the lake with a cold beer or a Durstlöscher in my hand, enjoying life and  just vibing to this.

This set was recorded live at Æden in Berlin on the weekend of 9th & 10th June 2025. With thanks to our friends at SoundCloud for helping us to make this set available.

DJ and producer KIM SWIM is making waves with her bold, genre-fluid sound and non-conformist spirit. Originally from South Korea and now based in Berlin, she grew up in cities across Germany—an upbringing that shaped her diverse musical identity. Just before graduating, she left law school to pursue her true passion: music.

Since then, KIM SWIM has quickly built a strong presence in Berlin’s nightlife, with standout sets at Boiler Room, HÖR, RSO, Funkhaus, Watergate, and more. She holds residencies at DNA Club in Munich and Gotec in Karlsruhe, and her reach now spans across Europe with gigs at Mondo Disko, Radion, Thuishaven, and Kilometre25. In early 2025, she toured South Africa with shows at Modular and &Club.

As a producer, KIM SWIM is gaining momentum with releases on Hot Meal Records and Polyamor. Her track “Hands Up High” has seen support from major artists, cementing her reputation as one to watch.

Her sound blends funky house, bouncy techno, trance, hard house, baile funk and beyond—always high-energy, always playful. With major festival debuts lined up for summer 2025, including Teletech, Monegros, Electric Love and Deichbrand, KIM SWIM is just getting started.
