If it's time that heals then I am so sick wishing my life away.
It's a poltergeist, in my mind that haunts my nights.
Not the type in sheets of white but a little tort feeling that I can't fight.

Its a marathon, and I'm running from you and your ghost that haunts everything I do.
I hope, I hope you know that I'll be fine. This time gonna run and not just hide.
Cos tonight I'm gonna outrun your ghost,
and these feelings that I hate the most,
exorcise these demons in my mind, and free myself tonight.

It's a purpose built
infected memory that keeps me ill
If you're the artist
the masterpiece is how I feel.
Well I'll keep running, a little out of breath but there's no stopping
till you chase and seek for me, just to find that you'll never catch me.

I keep denying what i know is true.
I keep on forcing myself to stay in love with you.
I keep Ignoring it so i fail to see,

Blind

Often when pursuing a love interest, there can be times of hot and cold behaviour or ‘love games’. Hide and Seek outlines the struggle of trying to understand why a new love interest can be interested one minute and not interested the next. It's metaphorically likened to the playground game ‘hide and seek’. The second verse has a French Christian prayer to the patron saint of lost things Saint Antoine, which asks to help find the love that has been lost.
