We’re excited to announce ‘Soon’ (MANT006), coming from debut artist, oliver. It’s a real honour to be chosen by an artist for their debut release, and we think you’ll enjoy the journey as he drifts between ambient, downtempo electronica, and techno.

'Possession', the stunning opening track, is an ethereal vignette capturing the melancholic atmosphere of late night and early morning. The EP's immersive title track, ‘Soon’, effortlessly layers pads and melodies that combine to provide moments of both introspection and euphoria. 'Tripped' and 'Melt' complete the EP's original material, and are as well suited to a Sunday drive as they are to the dance floor.

As is tradition Ian DPM, the previous EP artist, takes the lead on remix duties. Featuring on his 3rd consecutive Mantissa EP, he imprints his distinctive style on 'Possession', and expertly closes the record with a take that is vibrant, trippy and club ready.

Previously known as VOL.1, VOL.2, VOL.3, the latest installment “IV” is the aftercomer, focused on different sides of the club music, bending the rules of genres, bpm, and vibes.

A smaller format compared to previous years brings a strict inner circle of friends, collaborators,and supporters who brought their well-crafted material, ensuring the highest quality so far.

Cover art duties are again reserved for talented young artist Sofija Milosevic, known for creating NÜ KVLTURE’S recognizable visual identity.

Paris-Born, French-Creole artist based in Montpellier, Tom Manzarek has a vast and eclectic sound, inspired by the beat-scene of 2008-2018, English broken-beat, zouk and Jamaican dub.

In 2018 he co-creates Piñata Radio, a online plateform broadcasting artists from south of France and around the world, before starting his own label Plaisance Records in 2021.

Like in his productions, Tom Manzarek (real name Thomas Berthelot) enjoys mixing genres in his DJ sets, from electronic sounds (house, broken-beat, garage, jungle) to more organic ambiances (hi-hop, jazz, zouk, disco, riddims, etc.).
