On our third-year anniversary, we are stoked to launch ‘Yellow Island Various Artists 2021’. The compilation brings new faces to the label and features artists from different countries around the world, allowing each artist to express their own essence.

This V/A showcases experimental sounds, with 20 tracks that flow through the genres of house, lo-fi, electro, IDM, breaks and jungle.

Sister album to The Human Kind by The Shaken Remnant, Quantum Residue revisits the ruined Apple-like megastructure from above, this time from inside the simulation itself. Each track is an instrumental chapter in the technopera timeline—initialization, rise of The Intellect, discovery of the vault, awakening of Kai and Elara, the robot rewrite, the fall of the ruling code, and the quiet shutdown of the session. No lyrics, only melodic and industrial techno, cinematic sound design and wordless choirs, mixed for Dolby Atmos so it feels like walking through the wreckage of a story the machines still remember.
