The next chapter: After running  the Teanage Mutants project solo for the last five years, they recently reunited as a duo. But as the best things come in threes, they collaborated with Spanish producer EdOne for their upcoming 4-track ep "Chapter Two", which has been released via Stil vor Talent. Senso Sounds roars back into life with another double from the label’s main man, Oliver Huntemann. Continuing the incredible output on the label this year, Huntemann sets his sights on two opposing poles, north and south. Nordpol transmits an icey atmosphere, razor sharp synths cutting through the mix over a muscular bassline and Huntemann’s trademark precision-hard drums. Südpol starts out as the deeper of the two, but retains a steely backbone - pulsing and driving its way through the speakers, slowly working up into an all out techno-frenzy. Two huge tracks that standout from the masses - as always with the Senso Sounds stable.

Oliver Huntemann - Nordpol

A firm Drumcode favourite, Mark Reeve is back with his latest techno opus.

Weaving his vitalising, biting techno through the seminal imprint since 2012, Reeve has since become a permanent fixture within Adam Beyer’s camp. He saw demand for his knockout ‘Run Back’ EP being matched and surpassed by his ‘Far Away’ EP, which bagged the number one spot on Beatport’s techno chart. Staunch DC fans will also be familiar with Reeve’s output on the label’s A-Sides compilation series, and clubbers hot on the tails of Drumcode events will have caught him centre stage across a string of showcases, including the inaugural Drumcode Festival.

Reeve’s music invariably endorses an arresting sonic aesthetic, with intense melodies often driving in those eye-closing moments. The title track ‘Distance’ is an atmospheric opening gambit set to sonically massage the senses with uplifting pads and a radiant melody. ‘Serum’, a track recently road-tested by Beyer at a special event in collaboration with Cercle, soars and captivates as it progresses with a low-end rumble and intricate keys. ‘Fix Me’ is a vigorous techno workout that’s intent on energising a clubroom rammed with sweat-soaked dancers. Closing off the EP, ‘Filmwave’ rides a killer groove into a pit of punchy, powerful kicks.

For "Come With Me", James Blvck wanted a very mysterious vibe to the track. Like you just met someone on a dark, foggy dancefloor and you spend the rest of the night dancing with them not knowing what might come next. All the while, they are asking you to just trust them and be present in the moment.
The track itself is full of dark, atmospheric elements, driven by a booming rolling bassline and a punchy, hard hitting kick. The track reaches its peak in the breakdown before diving into a drop driven by the bassline and moody female vocal.

I am happy to welcome the talented woman BEC on my label! She delivered two amazing tracks in her very unique style, harder but with a sexy groove and deep melodies. Next up on Senso Sounds' Kontakt series is a collaboration between producers The YellowHeads,
Rebel Boy and Sam WOLFE. The YellowHeads have been lighting up the techno charts and parties over the last few years, building a solid reputation for techno that hits home hard. The boys from Madrid run the influential Reload Records, from which they have already
collaborated with Sam WOLFE, the up-and-coming talent behind the No.1 EP 'Graveyard March'. Making up the trio is Rebel Boy, the Detroit-born producer currently based in LA, already released on Riot Recordings and collaborated with Frankyeffe. The result of this unholy trinity is a pair of tracks that will cause a lot of damage when unleashed
in any situation. Adrenaline Machine is as hard as nails- a firing rhythm track provides the momentum for some huge drops and a slick sound design gives the track a true edge. Similarly, Motor City is another stripped down roller- a thick bass underpins the track before huge synths roll in to take the track into another dimension.
