Time for a new mix! This one includes some of my old favorites that I couldn't feature in my previous progressive house mix as well tracks I've found more recently. I tried to make the selection as chilled as possible but since there aren't too many chill progressive house tracks, this one is a bit less chill than what you would usually expect from me. I hope it gets you in the mood for summer anyway :)

Also a homage to one of the most influential prog house producers around. A master of chord structure and melodies that most of my earlier work came from. "Beautiful" has another gorgeous chord progression I was hooked on. Unfortunately I think the vocal edit of that track ruined it, but the chord progression still remained golden! For sure my top 1 with "After the Sunrise" and "The Paradise" close behind.

No midi or communication at all was received from Mossy. This was all done by ear.

Formerly known George F. Zimmer steps back into the flashing light of music industry under his new founded alias GFZ. Enormous Deep is proud to release his first EP "AMAZONIA" and welcomes him on board of our little space boat.
He's serving a well balanced portion of deep house combined with subtly chosen atmospheric progressive house elements. When everybody's going for swedish house leads and unfiltered trance pads, GFZ finds his way back to the roots of progressive house, the purest origins. There on the spot he opens up a new chapter of creating house music for the thrilled generation. 3 amazingly smooth tracks on one EP. 
VENEZUELA is the perfect opener here. With some deep stabs rolling through the track, classy native bells and some breathy flutes everything is offered the title already promises. Venezuela - welcome to the northern coast of South America. 
Along that coast, to the Amazon Basin we reach the rainforest. AMAZONIA follows the same musical path as the previous Song. Dark organic pad environments and low passed filtered chord stabs cover this fantastic journey through the wildest places of the South American jungle.
On our way back we cross the wide OCEAN WAVES. And while those waves are crashing next to our space boat, we take a ride through this amazing track. Wild arpeggio melodies howl in the backgrounds, a constant musical up and down. And as we hear the mermaid sing, the song drops in a rolling organic beat section supported by some smooth synth lines and house stabs.
Conclusion: Proper progressive house the way it was intended to be.

New dance music trends are quickly filling the dancefloors around the globe and the producers responsible for these innovations, standing at the forefront of this movement, sooner or later become top-level artists. Intricate Records, founded in early 2012 by Alexey Sonar, PROFF, Sergey Tkachev and Vadim Soloviev, to date has formed a label team and a loyal community of listeners and clubbers – fans of progressive and melodic house. «Vladimir PROFF and me have already compiled mix CDs for various projects in the past, but those were explicitly limited by the labels’ catalogs or some other circumstances. This time the situation is completely different, – Vadim Soloviev reveals some of the details. – While working on the first volume of Intricate Sessions and being in the preparative phase, we felt like gleaning for the smallest bricks for the compilation framework, including a number of unsigned and unreleased productions. As a consequence, my mix totally corresponds with my current vision of modern electronic dance music, my personal taste and preferences, and globally with the musical philosophy of Intricate Records. This means, first of all, progressive sound in it’s classical form, both melodic and dancefloor-friendly, but not big-room arena style. Besides that, I added some deep house and progressive trance, plus even some proper, high-quality  electro house. Each track here deserves special attention, many works have been recorded exclusively for this compilation and I would like to highlight that some of the artists have shown their totally different creative sides, that is surprisingly amazing».
