The mix in his words:

"To my ears, 'groove' is a certain culmination of sounds that evoke a feeling. That type of feeling that makes your eyebrows furrow and head start bobbing involuntarily. A certain rhythmic funk that makes you put on that stank face and say, “yeah, that’s that good shit”. Groove helps me sink into that pocket, where songs start blending and dancers’ steps never fall out of rhythm. This mix was inspired by this feeling. I started off with some OG edits and tracks, the kind of funk my pops would bump in the garage way back when. Later in the mix I get into some more house and club sounds while making sure the underlying groove stays alive."

When I was invited to contribute an opening set for the anniversary event of the booking agency I work with, I was excited to say yes, knowing the set would be centered around techno— a genre I don’t typically play, but one I truly enjoy listening to from time to time. The experience opened up many new creative possibilities for me, and I must say that performing for such a different audience, in a dark room filled with energy, was both inspiring and exhilarating. I hope you enjoyed the outcome as much as I did.

Technics のターンテーブル、PioneerのCDJに古いRODECのミキサーよ。そこからMartin Audioのサウンドシステムに繋がるいるの。
 
 
-あなたの曲はこのミックスの中に使用しましたか？
 
いいえ、この時間帯は使ってないわ。
 
 
-ミックスのコンセプトやアイデアを教えてください。
 
このミックスに関してとなると、いつも私はパーティーのオープニングでプレイする時は、まずは緩く暖かい感じといった雰囲気を重視して、クラブに人が増えて来た時にはグルーブを保ちながら、徐々にあげて行く感じです。なので、この日も先ほども言ったようにオープンの１時間だったので、そういう感じになったわ。
 
 
-近況と最近の活動を教えてください。
 
春から夏にかけて２枚のEPがリリースされる制作が終わったところよ。１つはJan Krueger、Daze Maximのレーベル「Hello?Repeat」、もう１つはポルトガルの新しいレーベル"Assemble Music"からリリースされます。
