Diese Compilation ist das Produkt des Projektes 'Empty Spaces - Die Stille zu Musik machen'. Alle Tracks wurden mit Samples produziert, die in verschiedenen Heidelberger Locations aufgenommen wurden, die aufgrund der Pandemie schon lange Zeit stillliegen. Aus dieser Stille ist etwas Neues entstanden: 38 Tracks diverser Genres, diverser Stimmungen und von diversen Menschen. Viele der beteiligten Künstler*innen leben in Heidelberg und Umgebung und haben einen persönlichen Bezug zu den Orten. Aber auch Producer*innen aus anderen Städten wie Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin und Nairobi haben sich beteiligt und die Stille zu Musik gemacht.
