Khamis Henkesh - El Disco (Tom Bolas Re-Edit)

Winner of a song contest run by a German underwear and bathing suit company in 1984. The prize was the production of a song with professional musicians - namely this very song. Judging by her rapping skills, the competition must have been a little on the weak side of things... 😆 It needed some seriously cheesy Schlager bits removed and more of the electronic good stuff. Enjoy!

Edit of a Nigerian uptempo disco banger with a nice synthline that once formed a beatless break, causing dancers to stop and wonder what happened. Needed a more continuous flow for danceability

Done It (Tom Bolas Edit)

Here is an edit made of the first minute and a half or so of an East German discowave track that in its original form completely changed mid-way through, into a not so enjoyable Rock song, absolutely ruining the vibe.
