We’ve reached our 14th iteration of This Is Night Bass and it’s a well-rounded mix of talented artists and unique sounds. From old friends to fresh faces, UKG to bass house, this dynamic curation represents who we are. Label boss AC Slater kicks off the release with his archetypal bassline swagger on ‘Dibby Dibby DJ’, following that is Hans Glader’s low-swinging grooves on garage heater ‘Nostalgia’ featuring rap flows from SG. The heavy house beats of ‘Kilos’ from Basura Boyz and Tombz take the energy up a notch right into Badger’s UKG-influenced ‘High Like This’ with Ak Renn on the vocals. ANDRSN joins the Night Bass fam with synth-driven ‘Move Like’ featuring PVC. Two of our NB Freshmen seal off the comp starting with 1997 and his bass-house banger ‘Dial’, followed by fellow graduate Chuck Shadow with the dark and savage sounds of ‘War Cry’.

Back over the summer I played and recorded my favorite set maybe ever at the greatest festival on earth - Electric Forest. We closed out the weekend Sunday night under the stars, tree tops, and neon glow of the Forest and it was one of the most magical experiences I have had in all my years of being a musician and DJ.  The crowd participation and love being shown all around was pretty unreal, as anyone there that night can attest to - Pure VIBES. 

I thought the file was long lost after I got home BUT it has been found! I have been so excited to share this with you all, so better late than never =]

It’s a thrill and a pleasure to be back on the 3000 Bass platform to deliver another epic showcasing of original bass design and high energy arrangement. This time around, we are very happy to be welcoming back the explosive sounds of Tombz to the platform, who hits the ground with smash on this brand new moogy masterpiece.

Taking the title ‘Dash’, we are immediately greeted by a warm combination of both stuttering percussive pops and vocal slices, giving the track a moody atmosphere from the jump. As the recording progresses, we find ourselves in a much more murky field of play, with acidic bass curdles and hard hitting 808 drum manoeuvres giving us a highly rhythmic original that is sure to cause some real dance floor damage.
