Just before my 21st birthday, I presented a concert at what was then called Carnegie Concert Hall. It was called "A Tribute to Bird and Pres", and featured a sax section playing Young and Parker solos alongside (on the Parker half) Howard McGhee, tpt., Bernard "Buddy" Anderson, tpt./voc., and Eddie Bert, tbn., and (on the Young half)Warren Vache, cornet, and Dicky Wells, tbn. 
The rhythm section was Joe Albany, p., Herb Ellis, g., Peck Morrison, b., and Mel Lewis, drums.  Larry Luger played rhythm guitar on the Young tunes as well. 
Sax section included Paul Eisler and Ira Weinstein, as., Steve Sacks, bar., plus Vinny De La Roca and myself on tenors. Phil Schaap was the MC.
The sound quality isn't ideal, in fact, it's far from it, but this track has a gorgeously poetic solo by Dicky Wells.
