Throwing Snow presents ‘Glower’, the second in a series of three EPs of club-focused yet melody-soaked tracks that are “built for the summer, yet seen through a wintery prism,” and have formed the recent backbone of his ever-changing live set. Its predecessor ‘Lumen’ found its way into the sets of DJs ranging from Four Tet to Sasha, and ‘Glower’ looks set to have a similarly broad appeal.

The title track features lush synths and dizzying harmonics, with the propulsive 4/4 carried along with Throwing Snow’s characteristic percussive flourishes.

Breaking their run of EPs on International Feel, Lauer and Fabrizio Mammarella reunite as Black Spuma with a trio of cuts on Futureboogie Recordings. The title track, is a throbbing, pulsating, bit-crunching beast of a track. A full mind and body workout that evokes the darker shades of early acid and new beat. 'Agguato' also packs a punch, with heavy drums sequences resonating throughout, whilst waves of hedonistic tones cut through feint melodicas and space invader tropes for a mind melting moment.

Yozhi is a DJ and producer (obviously) from Cornwall in the UK. His new track “Shift” is classic clipp.art - equal parts Emotive and Raw. It starts with some rubbery synth pads and heavy duty sidechain action (don’t believe the haters, this is ALWAYS a great place to start) and it’s all uphill from there! There’s a simplicity at work here, some might say a jackin’ puritism but either way evocative of head-down-in-the-fog-machine  morning moments, It's got that aural-equivalent-of-a-throat-lozenge vibe that has you at “hello”. Add that earworm lead and auto-asphyxiation EQ rumbling vocal and you’ve got yourself the ingredients to mix cocktails that will move your mood up another gear. Shift it.
