So it's been a few YEARS since I last posted a mix on my own profile, and today, as the sun was shining and the trees on the leaves were beautifully colored in yellow and red, I thought back on what a magnificent summer this was. With the best of friends, great weather and great gigs. One of them were even recorded, and I thought I'd share it with you.

Sasha Pervukhin (also known as Alex Pervukhin) whom you should recognize from his Laconica label, is starting a new one, called Pixel. The orientation is simple – modern, dancefloor-orientated house music, with a little twist. The twist is – the Ukrainian voice presence on every release.  Pixel is a new Carpet sub-label with our very own Sasha at the helm, officially establishing him as part of the Carpet and Snares family!

All the proceeds will go to Ukrainian donation initiatives.

Kęvin, born in São Paulo, had contact with music from a very early age through his parents, who always performed at local events and encouraged him to play musical instruments since he was a child. He began his journey in electronic music in 2013, having as his main references DJs such as East End Dubs, Kolter, DXNBY, Rossi., Project89, Julian Fijma and Archie Hamilton, who shaped the energy that makes up his sets. 

Versatile, not tied to just one genre, capable of adapting and making an impact on practically any dance floor, always updating and bringing more repertoires, from House, Minimal, Garage UK to Electro.
