As a balearic artist, the balearic house sound is in his blood and you can feel that in his tracks, which often feature that foot tapping and head bopping groove that is synonymous with underground house music. His very first releases quickly hit the charts on Beatport, and for more than 15 years, Frink has celebrated over 70 chart topping releases, which have been played far and wide by DJs all over the world. Fast forward to now and since 2020 Frink has been crowned as one of the top 14 most charted artists within the Deep House genre on Beatport.

Not only that, Frink can boast over 19 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, all of which are real and organic and not linked to any paid promotion with his success coming from the music itself. He prefers to be a man that keeps himself in the shadows of the underground and let the music do the talking for him.  


As a DJ, Frink has played in many countries across Europe including Sonar Festival, ADE and in Ibiza and it is normal to find him laying down vibes at Sisyphos in Berlin. He also has residencies in Mallorca such as at Mysa and can often be found involved in showcases for record labels Expmental Records and Berlin label Bondage Music. 

We caught up with Frink to find out more about his new release, the tranquillity of Mallorca and his love for the German capital.

At the age of 15, he won the DMC Mixing Championship, and by the age of 20, he moved from Australia to prove his talent on the UK circuit. At 22, his production Skydive took clubland by storm. At 24, he mixed compilations for Platipus and Renaissance, and at 25, he was named the first Global Underground Nubreed artist. He is one of the biggest legends in progressive house history, and his support of Super Progressive has meant the world to us.

Super Progressive Radio 004 feat. Anthony Pappa

Mit Johnny Bek starten wir mit frischer Power in die neue Woche.
Dabei steht der Hamburger schon seit 2002 hinterm Pult und weis eine Atmosphäre zu schaffen, wo einem der Atem wegbleiben kann.

Seine musikalischen Einflüsse umfasst die elektronische Musik der 80er Jahre bis heute. Für ihn sind DJ's dabei eine Art Magier, die ihre Crowd mit Tricks und Kniffen in einen zauberhaften Bann ziehen. Elektronische Musik zu machen ist eine Kunst, verschiedene Genres und Stile miteinander zu verbinden. Ein neues Kunstwerk zu schaffen.

Mit drei DJ-Kollegen startete Bek 2009 die Veranstaltungsreihe Electric Fabric Hamburg. 2011 die Produktion eigener Tracks. Am Anfang mit einem leeren Blatt Papier, am Ende mit einer fertigen Produktion, in der viel Zeit und Arbeit steckt.

2015 setzte er sich gegenüber 300 DJ's durch und gewann die Mixmag + ANTS Ibiza DJ competition. Infolgedessen ging es für ihn ins Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel (Official), wo er zusammen mit UNER, Timo Maas Official Page, Los Suruba, Andrea Oliva "Official" und Ben Pearce spielen durfte.

One day in the year of 1997, a few mates and Thomas discovered the German based Electronic Music Radio called "Evosonic". A 24/7 radio program was served with ingredients from D&B over Techno to House. This was the final impuls for getting addicted into House & Techno music. When it came to the end of that soundstation, Thomas decided to be independent concerning his musical desires.

Subsequently in the year 1998 Thomas started spinning vinyls and played several gigs in bars, clubs, open airs and private parties. He is now one of the tightest House-Spinners around the fur, always keeping it on the sexy emotional deep and vocal side of a genre that has been polluted by bleeps and elektro in the last half decade. He holds the olympic torch of House, keeping pure what has to stay out of commercial breakup Clubbings. Thomas will definitely tickle your spine with chills of joy, from the first record on...
