As long as you continue to think that honesty is a strategy in itself. As long as you remain in a state of illusion. If you wish to end your suffering, begin to see clearly. If you want to truly live, you must accept that justice does not exist. What exists are merely interests. However, what truly harms a person in an unjust world is not the injustice itself. You can adapt to it. Far more perilous is the false hope that you are still surrounded by truth. That the words of others carry their true meaning. That smiles are genuine. That promises are made with the intention of being fulfilled.
