Synopsis:

The album is a collection of four of William Shakespeare's Sonnets set to brand new music and one orchestral piece. Three of the Sonnets talk of the passing of time and the preservation of personages and beauty through art. The other is a description of Shakespeare's "Dark Lady", an anti-poem that reveals a devastating inner beauty. 

William Shakespeare's Sonnets were once described as "the most complete and moving meditations on love ever written." I concur! 

The orchestral piece "Hereafter" is dedicated to my dear childhood friend Michelle Ramsay-Fraser who passed away a few years ago from Lupus Disease. She was only 24-years-old. At age 17, we performed Shakespeare's Scottish Play together over twenty times all over the UK, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in New York. "Hereafter" is my salute to her and my attempt to put my wonderful friend into musical notes as Shakespeare did with his poetry.
