Meanwhile, flowers still bloom.
The moon rises, and the sun.
Babies smile and somewhere,
Against all the odds,
Two people are falling in love.

Strangers share cigarettes and jokes.
Light plays on the surface of water.
Grace occurs on unlikely streets
And we hold each other fast 
Against entropy, the fires and the flood.

Life leans towards living
And, while death claims all things at the end,
There were such precious times between,
In which everything was radiant
And we loved, again, this world.

Sometimes a Wild God

Rozi and I organise a fortnightly Dance Thing on Tuesdays, upstairs at Meadowbrook Community Centre, Dartington, 10-11.30am 

It's a 90-minute morning move to acid techno, ghetto funk, psytrance, squelchy beats and dirty bass. 2 x 45-minute sets. No DJ, no frills. Not a workshop, just the joy of dancing to big sounds.

£5 each to cover room hire etc...
Dressing up encouraged.

Featuring: Kamaninda, Electric Universe (plus Hilmar and Chico), 1200 Micrograms, Cosmosis, 1200 Micrograms (again), Desert Storm, Phutureprimitive, Yves Deruyter, Kai Tracid & A*S*Y*S, Dekel, Hallucinogen (remixed by Astral Projection), Middle Mode (with DJ ANtrix and Fiction [RS]) and Russ Liquid.

It's in two 45-minute chunks, with some warm-up and warm-down and a little squelchy caesura in the middle. The first half is pretty heavy with old-school Goa stuff and then it gets a little more techno-y in the second half before coming back hard on the psytrance to finish...
