This track was performed live with only a small motif written by Tom Holmes, the encouragement for the musicians was to express themselves. This was the first and last take. 3 friends expressing a lot through music and hopefully the emotions behind the music shine through. 

Elementary Sketch

My new years resolution was to learn to play the piano! It's been a stuttering process for someone who knows what he wants it to sound like, but have a whole new process to learn. Anyway, having had a bit of time banned from singing due to health, i've practiced a lot, and here is my first little sketch. It's not even in C! Don't judge too much, it's early days and also my midi keyboard has the sensitivity of Jeremy Clarkson!!!

I work as Head of Music and Worship at The Belfrey, a large church in York. 

I started saxophone when I was 9 and guitar when I was 15. 

I'm using soundcloud to share the ideas between friends. Recently in a small experimental trio of Sax, Keys and Drums with 2 of my best friends.
