Lirismo e Tango  (2013) composed by Tom Hondeghem 
for alto sax and piano

Recording of my new composition for alto sax and piano. The piece is written in an A-B-A' form and is based on one central theme. During the A part, the theme is presented in it's lyrical character ("Lirismo"), during the B part the theme is transformed into a 'Tango con fuoco' ('Tango") with a virtuoso cadenza as the highlight of the piece. The piece ends with a reprise of the main theme but now in a great modulation. 

Lirismo e Tango is from now on available at Golden River Music. 
This composition is perfect for levels M3 - H1 at music academies and for a concours.
