Jesus takes over our debt and pays it off. He owns it and paid but we earn all the benefits of living freely in Him. This is salvation. Our job is to just sign over our bankrupt lives.

Of course it is tantalizing!
If it wasn't desperately desirable and duplicitously seductive, it wouldn't be a worthy opponent to derail your destiny.
But don't give in.

Unmarried youth, don't sell your virginity cheaply in the hidden corners of a dark room for a red rose or a dozen chocolates. Because that is everything less than a lovely honeymoon after a public acknowledgement of your worth by someone who values not only what is under your clothing but inside the one it covers.

Married folks, ...don't acquiesce to that solicitation by the attractive and perfectly intuitive co-worker, close acquaintance, or old friend who is ever eager to attend to your now dejected emotions.
As enthralling as their advances may be in lieu of the pitifully offensive, attitude-ridden communications of your spouse who perhaps has currently left your legitimate desires forlorn, refuse them.
Walk away.
Keep your promises even if the other person in your home doesn't see the prodigious effort you just made to deny yourself of that ravishing proposition.
Jesus saw it. God sees it all. And He rewards faithfulness. He rewards waiting.

Imagine that future Godly spouse you so desire...the one you haven't met,
...or the soon-coming improvement to the one you already have...
Imagine them saying to you: "Please wait for me."

Week 19 of Tomi Favored's continuous song releases: Jesus, You are a great God.

My dear father left this earth 2 days ago. 2/22/18. He went on to be with Jesus. 
A part of me just wants to sit in a dark room and lament...cry...and feel the overwhelming weight of what I am experiencing. 

A different side of me however, is aware that I cannot handle the weight of everything I feel... Furthermore, the only person who can adequately help me is Jesus Christ to whom my saved father has gone. Irrespective of circumstances, Jesus is a great God. 

So I sang this song and went to record it that day so I can remind myself, and the enemy of our souls that my father served the Great God Jesus Christ, and even if his life here on earth is done, he has just been born into eternity where pain and suffering will never again be his portion. Our Jesus is a great God no matter what. And my job is to serve that same great God Jesus Christ and run my own race well. And someday i will go see that Great God who has my father with Him.

Life has its twists and turns...it's possible, and even easy to be broken and forget who is Lord of all in the midst of seemingly irrevocable problems. Nevertheless, in all, and at all times, God never ceases to be a great God. The true worshiper is one who acknowledges every inch of the struggle but reminds every inch of trouble that the one we serve is a great God above all. And God, THE only living God, my God, is Jesus the Christ.

Jesus You are a great God

My father passed away. But he is not gone forever. I will see him again someday. It's either that I go to sleep and see him at the Lord's feet, or that we meet in the air as promised in the Word of the Lord at the Harpazo; also known as the rapture. And from then on, there will be no more tears, no more sorrow, no more crying. It will be joy evermore because the hope of every Christian is the fact that having given our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, he has saved us and we are promised life eternal. Christianity is the only faith where our savior comes to save us and offers us eternal life freely. Every other religion is a habitual failure of man trying to reach what they perceive to be god. But the Lord Jesus Christ overcame even death for us so even when we lose loved ones in Jesus the Christ, we never have to say goodbye.

Circumstances come and go. 
Emotions come and go.
Trials come and go. 
But we walk by faith and not by sight...
In other words, we are not thrown here and there by every new thing that happens to us.
Furthermore, our worship is not contingent upon what is around us but on the Holy Spirit IN us as sealed Christians. 
We worship God through all situations; whether good or bad. We love Him anyway. 
Like Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego, we say to the wicked ruler of this world: Our God is able to deliver us so we will not bow down and worship you. (Now here's the best part): EVEN IF God doesn't take this trial or whatever away, we will still worship Him and nothing else. 
That is our message.
The other side of that coin is the Lord God Himself who has accepted Jesus Christ as the sacrifice for our sins. His love for us is perfect in Jesus. Nothing we can do is so bad that He doesn't love us anyway once we are in Christ Jesus. We are secure because we are in Christ and He will continue to love us in spite of ourselves. Christ's blood covers us. His grace will not stop. It is eternal.

It's been a while guys. I apologize. Such is life. Sometimes you have to hit pause...then play again. There are mountains and valleys on our walk with God but the grace of God is sufficient; our responsibility is simply to hold on. 
So whatever you may be going through...allow this fellow recruit in this journey encourage you by saying; be vigilant and don't ever let go of the lover of our souls; the Lord Jesus Christ. 
We can do this. 
We can do life. 
Because Jesus Christ has saved us.

I'm learning that when you walk through life in a relationship with God, it is very possible to simultaneously go through valleys and mountains. On one hand you are getting victories, and on another, trials beyond your comprehension. 
Ultimately, as children of God whose faith is not contingent on what we see or our circumstances, we say THANK YOU to God in everything. And the beautiful thing is we begin to see God's handiwork in it all. The good, and in the bad, we see how He can make it all work for our good. 
We are loved. 
We are saved. 
We are created by a wise King.
So we say THANK YOU Lord. 
For blessing us with goodness, with challenges, with mountains and even valleys. Through it all, we are more than conquerors. 
We may not always know HOW or WHY you do certain things, but we are certain that your plans for us are good and not evil. So we can thank you in advance and at the end.

All I want to say is thank You

Week 24 of Tomi Favored continuous releases: "Saved by Jesus Christ."

There is no other name in heaven, on earth or even under the earth with which men can be saved. Jesus is the name above all other names at which every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. 
No one will go to hell for their sin; whatever it may be. Those who go will go because they refused the payment for their sin which was paid by Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. God said it is not His will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance; literally a change of mind coming to the knowledge that He is willing to save them and has taken upon Himself the responsibility of their lives and eternity. 
The blood of Jesus Christ, the Cross of Jesus Christ, the name of Jesus Christ...are the things I will submit at Heaven's gate someday as my ticket to enter eternal glory.
Come to Jesus today. He is lovingly waiting for you.

There is just a little over a week before B.O.W! I am personally trusting in the name of the Lord Jesus to see it through for us.

If you've lived a little while here on earth, you've seen that things and people will rise against your very life. Some will not only withstand you and your attempts at forward motion, but may literally attack your destiny and put your feet to flight from their negative bombardments. From the "system" to spiritual warfare, to unfortunate encounters and even "haters", it can be difficult living in a fallen world where the waters of adversity rise to capsizing levels. So the fact that you are still standing dear Christian, is a miracle. A deliberate miracle orchestrated by God who still has a purpose for you being here. This great master of your life, the author and finisher of your faith, should be one to whom you continually hold on. In everything, we must say, Lord we will "Trust In Your Name."
