Dug up from our archives, the latest Unsound podcast comes from object blue's set at Unsound Krakow 2019, in the early hours of the night in the packed medieval cellar at Szpitalna 1, at a time that now feels like a different era. A blend of techno, experimentation and unpredictable rhythmic patterns, the set is a great primer for object blue's return to Unsound, playing b2b with TSVI.
Born in Tokyo, raised in Beijing and now residing in London, object blue broke into the scene in 2018 with her brilliant debut EP 'do you plan to end a siege?' on Tobago Tracks. Her subsequent releases include last year's  'Hyperaesthesia' EP with TSVI, combining object blue's widescreen club tones and TSVI’s fluid percussive styles – we can't wait to hear what they cook up together for Unsound 2021!

Crack Mix 491: Authentically Plastic

This mix was performed at the 2024 Ever Afters Campout. ( @ever-afters ) This is my second live set incorporating four decks— two vinyl and two digital. Given the special opportunity to cross the Heart Lodge stage over from the last hours of Thursday into the early Friday morning, I knew I needed to bring the sounds closest to my heart. A pre-midnight selection of house music floats us into a second hour where the house courts a beautiful dance with intense breakbeats, and frenetic noise. This set should hopefully make you look up at the sky, down at your moving feet, and all around you at your starry surroundings, and unify the whole scape under one continuous proclamation of love and energy exchanged.

Tom Marsi - The Ever Afters Campout 2024 - The Heart Lodge

@chicoterror is a DJ and producer born in Argentina, now based in Spain. Believing in electronic music's power to create community, he has founded several collectives, including Argentina's Witches and KIDZ, the latter supporting the LGBTQI+ community. In Spain, he launched Maquina Total, with five editions in Barcelona, including one at RAZZMATAZZ, and Silencio Locx, an LGBTQI+ collective in Madrid's Ballesta Club. He headlines European clubs like MOOG (Barcelona) and Sameheads (Berlin) and is a bi-weekly resident at Serendipia in STARDUST (Madrid). You can hear his sets on Kiosk Radio (Brussels) and Operator Radio (Rotterdam), and he is a resident of the label UNUSUAL SYSTEMS. 

According to him, “As a DJ, I am a curator of an eclectic mix of sounds that retain a vivid image of the roots of electronic music in the 90s. I fuse genres including techno, acid, breaks, and electro, passing through trance, new beat, and bleep.”
