VIP Remix of my Nina Simone Remix, this is one of the tracks that got me into producing. Back in 2009 in Ibiza Steve Lawler dropped a Daniel Dubb Remix of Sinnerman and ever since that day I was eager to put my own twist on the track. Piano sampled from 3 different versions and the baseline was layered 4 times to get the balance just right.

when I was on my 2014 tour of Australia, I sought out an artist named Zak Waters as everyone I knew there was talking about his music. I had just gotten the stems of Faded from Jake, Zhu's manager at the time & wanted to do something different as just about everyone with a laptop had done a remix already. as Zak put it in a YourEDM post about it, “Little did I know that he and I would end up spending some time in the studio and within a few hours, we had finished a very special remix.”, which is very much what happened. crazy but it sounds on point with so much of textures used now. enjoy!
