As we get ready for a busy summer, of spreading the sound of tomorrow across the globe, we can't help but take a step back and bring you all the feel good, forward thinking music you know and love from Soulection. This installment of our White Label series comes from 18 year old London composer, songwriter, guitarist, singer & violinist, Tom Misch. We felt the need to list all of this in the description, because each track is such an audio masterpiece. This one is for everyone, but true fans of Dilla, and smooth, mellow, R&B inspired hip-hop beats, will definitely enjoy this release.

"Basically this EP is me attempting to make instrumentals that will effect people moods in a positive way but also make people think, all produced and recorded by myself in my bedroom. I've used a combination of obscure jazz samples but mostly live instrumentation that I've recorded, so I recored guitar, violin, bit of vocals and sound effects etc." -Tom Misch

LA based singer/songwriter Miki Rose & Brighton based producer El. Train come together to deliver their five track EP 'Over & Over.' They first collaborated on the track 'Control' back in January for El. Train's 'Somewhere Between' EP. Whilst Miki was in the UK in May the two decided to get in the studio to record some music and they managed to flesh out 4 or 5 demos in a day. A couple of months sending files back and forth over the Internet and they finally managed to settle on five tracks that would form the basis of the EP.

Kayloo & Silo - Cadillac

We have been waiting for this collaboration to happen. Thankfully, it did and the wait has been been worthwhile. Paris meets Leuven, where  Kayloo and Silo both compliment each other so well in 'Cadillac'. The title pretty much speaks for itself, as it is an ideal track for driving or jogging into the pink sunset. With Silo's signature chords floating over Kayloo's 808 basslines, the track builds itself into a smooth slo-mo house tempo, showcasing the duo's versatility.

DJ Cez has been spinning since 2007, working his way from the bottom, up. Cez perfected his skills, providing the music for countless house parties, as any true House DJ should. His first breaks were @ Club Venom (San Antonio) in 2007, followed by a SXSW after party in 2008 with Dre Skull and Juiceboxx headlining. Since then Cez has continued to play at various venues around Texas from Houston to Dallas but mainly Austin. He has played alongside CANBLASTER, Teki Latex, Dubbel Dutch, KINGDOM, L-VIS 1990, BOK BOK, Kastle, Myrryrs, Mess Kid, DJ Sliink, Morri$, Tom Richman, Lido, Ghosts on Tape, Brenmar, Cedaa, Santa Muerte, Jim-E Stack, Jerome LOL, Sines, Auto Body, Egyptrixx, Richard Gear, MSCLS, Dj Orion, King Louie, STVYRVRE, WaveRacer, Starfoxxx,  just to name a few. He is currently runs the DJ collective Wabi Sabi. Wabi Sabi is responsible for some of the largest unofficial SXSW events as well as holding several residencies around Austin.
