"Chasing Dusk", my latest Electronic-Alternative composition, is an emotional piece, which was written over many days and nights. As I write music, I often find my mood or style changes so frequently, that it causes my records to contain a vast degree of melodic contrast. Through out the record, you can truly feel all of the emotions that I felt during the writing process; from uplifting and powerful, to isolated and distant. As a composer, most people note upon the contrast, and the perception of 'time' in my works. Personally, this is one of the most beautiful things you can strive for in music, as it not only has a greater impact on listeners, but demonstrates the true feeling behind a piece. Nuit Quantique” est une plongée dans une dimension où le temps se dissout et le son devient matière. Porté par une pulsation profonde et des nappes en mouvement lent, le morceau crée un espace hypnotique, presque méditatif. Chaque fréquence semble flotter dans l’obscurité, se transformant au fil du flux, comme des particules sonores en suspension.
Minimal et organique, “Nuit Quantique” explore la frontière entre conscience et vibration. Une techno mentale, introspective, où la lumière et l’ombre se confondent — pure immersion sonore.

Active since 2011, the retrosynth scene quickly took notice of TOMMY '86 for his high-quality, pulsating, Italo disco sounds. He has released several albums and EPs, dusting off the prototypical production styles of the '80s blended together with a modern touch.

Growing up with the sounds of the '90s (in particular Daft Punk), TOMMY '86 later discovered the musical universe of the 1980s through his parents' vinyl and cassette tape collections. His electronic inspirations suddenly expanded to a wide berth – from Jean-Michel Jarre to Daft Punk, from College to Kraftwerk, from Lifelike to Phoenix.
