We've been longtime supporters of London club-smiths The Disco Express so it's been a pleasure watching them grow over the last few years from one monthly club night in London to club nights all over Europe and a blossoming record label releasing some of the true heroes of the disco scene.

Their latest release see's label boss Tom step up to the plate under his Bustin' Loose pseudonym with the rather excellent 'The Link Up EP'.

Leslie Lello, born and raised in Bassano del Grappa, returns to The Disco Express off the back of his superb Spirito Rivera EP from 2022. Receiving support from a whole host of artists like: Nightmares On Wax, TSHA, Chrissy, Horse Meat Disco, Bill Brewster, Spiller and many more, Leslie has established his own sound heavily inspired by classic disco, electro house and breakbeat.

Leslie has also established his own parties along with his mates Lamento (Caldera Republic) and Paul Older (Hiland Festival), pushed by the desire to spread Nu Disco across the north of Italy and beyond.

When you think of the Trammps you tend to think Disco. However, on this occasion, it’s not the case. Dave Lee has totally reworked an obscure Trammps acapella to something that harks back to the glory days of 90s Soulful House. Here Dave chops & re-purposes the gospel-fuelled throaty vocals to soar over classic M1 piano chords, time-honoured synth swells, and that all-important Organ solo that really takes it to Church.

This is a joyous ode to that classic 90’s soulful house vibe done by a master of his craft who lived through those hazy early days of HOUSE HOUSE HOUSE.
