A flower blooms too late for me to see it's grandeur in it's cycle 
For more to come as time will pass, it pains me, this realisation 
For love and lore I lay me down to smite myself of the best of times 
I fold my hands and remember the words passed on to me, the bittersweet euphony

He sings his last and late song, for us to see the tears 
engulfing him before his breath runs away, in the wake of tears

I close my eyes and remember the days when we lay beside each other 
Arms tangled, frozen in this memory our bodies naked in the summer sun

Where the Grass of Calm Grows

Tommy Lindal, born 12.09.1973 in Stavanger, Norway. He was one of the founders of the Norwegian Doom/Goth band Theatre of Tragedy back in 1992. They released two full cds (ST Theatre of Tragedy & Velvet Darkness They Fear) and one mini album (a rose for the dead) before Tommy suffered a stroke in the studio in Germany 1996. Tommy was also having a sideproject blackmetal band called Imperium with the legendary drummer Trym (known works in Enslaved, Emperor, Zyklon ect.) Imperium also consisted of two other known musicians from bands like Gehenna & Dismal Euphony. In 1997 Tommy was forced to leave both bands due to cosentrating on his rehabilitation prosess.
