Meet Ninyo!

Ninyo is a Sydney Based DJ and producer. Her sound is a hypnotic mix of dark, minimal drum and bass, deep dubstep and half time dnb. 
In 2022, Ninyo has been busy playing shows around Sydney as well as interstate, and has shared the stage with Drum and Bass heavyweights including Pola and Bryson, Monrroe, PHDNB and Chris Munky. 
She is currently working on producing her upcoming EP, to be released in 2023.

NonRev returns to Omni Music with a 4 track opus of breakbeat drum and bass. Chopped Rhythms and splinters of ethereal melodies ebb and flow as hypnotic basslines drive each composition forward. The mayhem starts with the opener and title track 'A Secret Society' where bass and drums jostle for your attention, 'Day Drinking' picks up where that ends with stuttering drums, floating pads and drifting pads. Sense of Security continues the EP with its deceptive serene intro before it evolves into a amen-infused monster before ending with the dark jazz-fest of Someone Else's Problems. I'm proud to present All-Fanu Mix Volume 8 to all drum-and-bass-loving ladies and gentlemen out there.

This is a selection of only my own productions from the past few years. This is what drum and bass is to me: chopped-up breaks and jungle, borderlining more modern shades of bass music, taking influences from contemporary styles such as footwork and juke. 
When I was cutting my teeth as an artist breaking into the drum and bass scene a decade ago, doing these mixes gained my style some attention (it wasn't even called bass music back then!), and I thought it might be nice to do one again to show especially those new to the Fanu sound where it is currently. To those into the sound I'm happy to tell you that at the moment I'm working on another full-length album in the vein of styles heard in this mix.
Most of these songs have been released on my own imprint Lightless Recordings, which is the home of my music.
