"Shadow Roots" showcases Dast's sonic evolution, offering a 3-trackers that navigates the intricate spaces between house and techno. This EP not only reflects Dast's roots in the vibrant musical culture of Naples but also his journey through the electronic music landscape. 

The opening track, "Parentesi" is a darker techno cut, showcasing his storytelling skills with a fast tempo, pulsating leads and a rolling groove, underscoring Dast's versatility and innovative approach to music production. Following, "I Can't Get" captivates with hypnotic drum breaks and repeating chopped vocals, enriched by dreamy pads that maintain the EP's thematic blend.
